Student Life

Activities & Clubs

Orange Lutheran's Student Leadership Team (SLT) serves the student body, faculty, community, and God in a number of ways throughout the year. There are many activities in which students can become involved! These include joining a club, helping freshmen by becoming a member of Ignite, going to dances, or attending any Orange Lutheran sporting events. These are great ways to be a part of the Orange Lutheran community outside of the classroom.

Activities to Satisfy Many Interests: Each child is blessed by God with unique gifts. Students at Orange Lutheran High School have the opportunity to participate in multiple activities outside the classroom to better explore and strengthen those gifts.

Orange Lutheran High School offers a variety of clubs from year to year. The purpose of these clubs is to make available more ways for students to become connected at Orange Lutheran High School. At the beginning of each semester, a Club Rush is held, allowing students the opportunity to start and/or join the clubs being offered for the current semester. Any student is welcome to submit a club application for approval to the Director of Student Activities.

In an effort to encourage student participation at Orange Lutheran High School and cultivate communication between the students, faculty, and staff, a Student Leadership Team (SLT) is chosen annually. The Student Leadership Team is comprised of elected and appointed positions. SLT meets regularly during a class period as well as outside of class with the Activities Department faculty to discuss student concerns, organize school activities, promote school spirit, encourage appropriate student conduct, and encourage service to society.

This program is for freshmen through seniors.

Ignite is a student-to-student mentoring program designed to help students new to the school make the transition to becoming members of the Lancer family. The Ignite program seeks to connect new students with Christ, connect new students to the Orange Lutheran High School community, and connect new students with other students. Ignite mentors are juniors and seniors who have been chosen to serve as role models by demonstrating excellence in Christian character development, academic achievement, and extra-curricular involvement.
This program is for juniors and seniors.

This group of students acts as hosts/hostesses at school events held on and off campus, where the general public, as well as family and friends of the school, are present. When representing Orange Lutheran, the members of the Ambassadors Team will exemplify the definition of "Lancer" as embodied in the Lancer Expectations. They will also give their support to projects and events sponsored by the student body, Student Leadership Team and/or Administration.
