Perr, whose son Carl will be a freshman at OLu next year, is being honored on Tuesday, Jan. 2, for over 39 years of service with Lutheran Hour Ministries, including being a three-year board member as well as an “unsung hero.”

Perr, the niece of Nancy Paul, has also spent 30 years serving her Lord as a teacher in the Lutheran schools setting, producing original music and scripts, directing handbells, coaching volleyball and mentoring.

Along with this parade appearance, Perr will help host the VIP behind-the-scenes party and view the latter stages of float decorating in process on Dec. 31.

Dr. Gregory Seltz (Lutheran Hour speaker), Dr. Dale Meyer (Concordia Seminary, St Louis, MO President), Patty Ross (Lutheran Women’s Missionary League National President), Kim Ohlemeyer (Lutheran Hour Ministries, Director of Marketing/Creative Services), and three representatives from local LCMS congregations.
