Next level

10 Lancer student-athletes to realize dream of playing in college

Orange Lutheran High School athletic director Todd Eklund has announced that 10 Lancer student-athletes have declared to play in college.

Since November 2010 and including this group, close to 86 Lancer student-athletes have gone on or will go on to compete at the next level in the following sports: acrobatics and tumbling, baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, track and field and volleyball.

Orange Lutheran’s nationally-recognized athletics program is a vital part of the school’s emphasis in pursuing excellence in Christian character development, academics, competition and performance.

The student-athletes are:

  • Chase Dominguez, University of Utah
  • Gunnar Wolfe, Valparaiso University (Indiana)
  • Shaun Pisani, Briar Cliff University (Iowa)

Founded in 1973, Orange Lutheran High School is a comprehensive private Christian co-educational college preparatory high school, grades 9-12, that exists to help students internalize the gospel message of salvation in Christ Jesus.
