Mission Trips
OLu Mission Trips invite students into something bigger than themselves—an opportunity to serve others, build authentic relationships, and grow in their faith through life-changing experiences. Each year, students travel across the country and around the globe to partner with trusted communities we’ve walked alongside for years. Whether it’s repairing homes in Appalachia, leading Vacation Bible School in Haida Gwaii, supporting school partnerships in Uganda, or engaging in outreach in places like Taiwan and Hong Kong, our students step into real ministry that makes a lasting impact.
From freshman year on, every OLu student is encouraged to be part of Missions. You don’t need previous experience—just a willing heart and a desire to serve. Our trips are built on spiritual purpose, thoughtful preparation, and a strong sense of community. Parents can trust that students will be guided by experienced leaders and a full-time Missions team who care deeply about both safety and spiritual growth. We believe that when students go out to share Christ’s love, they return changed—more compassionate, more confident, and more connected to God’s calling in their lives.
Our child came home [from NART] with such a happy and full heart and wants to go back! As parents, we are just so grateful for such an amazing program that OLu offers the kids. Nothing is more beautiful than seeing the growth of faith in Jesus Christ.
