Ceramics Intern

The Ceramics Intern will report directly to the Supervising Ceramics Instructor.  Duties include maintaining a clean and safe studio space, loading and unloading kilns and preparing for firing. In addition, the Ceramics Intern will learn how to mix and test glazes and prepare sculptures for exhibition in the gallery. 

Intern will learn a variety of skills and are expected to demonstrate these skills in a practical setting. Students with strong work ethic, eagerness to grow professionally, and an interest in Ceramics, Sculpture, Product Design, Automotive Design, Engineering, Chemistry, Arts Administration, and Art Education will be favored in the selection process. Interns will have an extensive portfolio of experience to utilize for future college and career opportunities. This is an unpaid internship position.
