In addition to attending the event, there are many ways to support the Gala Dinner and Show! 

• Donate an auction item: Do you have gift cards that you won't use? Season tickets for a sports team? A good bottle of wine collecting dust? A vacation home that you would be willing to share? These all make great auction items! To donate an auction item, complete the In-kind Donation Form and follow the instructions.
• Volunteer on the Gala Planning Committee: Contact Candice Corbett, Special Events Manager, at candice.corbett@lhsoc.org if you want to learn more!
• Bid on Silent Auction items: The Silent Auction opens a few days before the Gala and is open to the public. You do not have to be present at the Gala to win! The auction closes at 7:00 pm on March 20, and items will be available for pickup during the week of March 22. All Silent Auction proceeds benefit the Annual Fund.
  • If you are interested in a Live Auction item, but are unable to attend the event, please contact Bruce Freeman, Chief Development Officer, at 714-282-4626 for information about bidding by proxy. Live Auction proceeds benefit the Annual Fund.

The Gala Dinner and Show is Orange Lutheran’s largest fundraiser and signature event of the year. The evening begins with a cocktail reception and silent auction from 5:00–6:15 pm, followed by a seated dinner in the Nixon Library’s East Room at 6:30 pm.

During dinner, you will enjoy performances by Orange Lutheran’s vocal and dance students, a live auction, and inspiring stories from the Orange Lutheran community, including the presentation of the Beacon Award, which honors those who shine Christ’s light through generosity, service, and leadership. You will also hear how need-based financial aid has impacted a Lancer family and have the opportunity to support future Lancers. The evening concludes around 9:00 pm, with auction items available for pickup as you depart.

Cocktail or formal attire is expected. Consider that the event begins in the outdoor Rose Garden, then moves indoors to the East Room.
