Orange Lutheran students carve out unique and individualized career paths as they create, learn, rehearse, and perform in our elegant 715-seat Alexandra Nechita Center for the Arts, one of the preeminent high school performing arts venues in the country named after internationally acclaimed Romanian American cubist painter and Orange Lutheran alumna. Our faculty and staff provide a unique means of student expression through award winning visual, vocal, instrumental, dance, and theatrical productions that capture their passions and emotions.
Programs and classroom experiences along with dedicated spaces for orchestra, choirs, small ensembles and stage actors focus on the development of intellectual and critical abilities to empower young artists of all disciplines. Orange Lutheran is renowned for its ability to prepare graduates for career and artistic success via master classes, mentorships, and guest performances.
"Students regularly share the stage with Grammy winners, Academy Award winning songwriters, and Broadway stars, ensuring a balanced curriculum of theory and practical experience from accomplished practitioners."
Open to all students, these award winning Broadway style productions extend Orange Lutheran’s commitment towards emphasizing personal exploration, insightful artistic expression, and powerful dramatic performance.
Focused on developing strong acting technique and offering multiple performance opportunities, Drama offers a range of courses providing dynamic training in many styles of acting, both stage and screen as well as directing and script writing.
