FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
A partnership between Orange Lutheran High School and the parent(s)/guardian(s) for the duration of the student’s matriculation at our school.
Our Commitment: Orange Lutheran High School will provide facilities, faculty, and staff to produce the best educational experience possible for your student. Orange Lutheran High School prioritizes the development of well-balanced students who are strengthened and prepared not only for college but for a Christian life of purpose in a global society.
Parent/Guardian Commitment: Students have the best opportunity for success when parents, church, and school partner in establishing clear communication and enforcing healthy boundaries. To enhance this partnership, it is the responsibility of the parent to read and reinforce the school's expectations and policies outlined in the Parent Student Handbook. Continued enrollment for your student is contingent upon maintaining a current tuition and fees account in good standing, as well as to provide ongoing support and respect of school philosophies, beliefs, policies, procedures, administrators, faculty and staff.
We want to see your student flourish at Orange Lutheran High School and we will do everything possible to ensure he/she remains a Lancer for Life. However, failure to meet your commitment to maintain a current financial account will impact your student. A past due account may result in late fees, disqualification from participating in school activities and athletics, and removal from classes until the account is brought current. If the account is not brought current within the terms provided by Orange Lutheran High School Student Accounts, your student’s enrollment status may be revoked.
CONTINUOUS ENROLLMENT
Orange Lutheran deploys a continuous enrollment model which provides families a single contract for your student’s tenure at Orange Lutheran High School. This process is rooted in our desire to make the enrollment experience easier for our families by removing the need to complete re-enrollment steps on an annual basis. Both your selected tuition payment plan and your learning model (traditional on-campus, blended, or full-time online) will default to the existing elections present for the current school year. Any changes to your payment plan must be requested through the Student Accounts office. Learning model changes must be requested through the Counseling office.
FINANCIAL ACCOUNT
FACTS Tuition Management is the school's tuition management system used to manage your financial account. FACTS allows parents/guardians to track tuition, incidental fees, account balance, process tuition and fee payments as well as apply for financial aid. Please note: your contract is not an application for financial aid. It is your responsibility to apply for financial aid annually, as needed.
Parent(s)/Guardian(s) are required to maintain a FACTS account for payment of your student's tuition and any incidental fees regardless of your chosen payment plan. All payments must be made timely pursuant to due dates. Families who elect to pay via cash or check must also maintain a FACTS account and keep it up to date to include contact and demographic information.
FINANCIAL ACCOUNT RECONCILIATION FOR WITHDRAWALS
DOMESTIC STUDENTS:
Your financial account will be reviewed at the time of withdrawal to identify any balance or refund due. All participation and/or incidental fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable including the school's annual enrollment fee. Any balance or refund due will be calculated based on a monthly rate commencing the previous May (of any given year) through the date of withdrawal regardless of payment plan (monthly, semester or annual) or date of completed enrollment.
The following table outlines parent(s)/guardian(s) financial responsibility for student tuition at the time of withdrawal:

ENROLLMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
DOMESTIC STUDENTS
Read these Terms and Conditions carefully before signing the Enrollment Contract.
- The school will correspond with the primary signer of the Enrollment Contract for all financial matters. Should you require a secondary party to receive communications concerning your student’s financial account, please contact the Student Accounts office.
- Removing your student from the school for any portion of the term of the Enrollment Contract, or by failing to enroll the student after executing the contract, will have breached the Enrollment Contract and materially alter the position of the school. Therefore, unless this contract is canceled via written notice of withdrawal to the school, the signer of the Enrollment Contract will be responsible to pay the full amount of the tuition and fees for the semester.
- The signer of the Enrollment Contract must make timely tuition and fee payments when due. Failure to meet all financial deadlines will result in dismissal of the student and/or suspension of instruction to the student, unless evidence is presented in advance, in writing, that financial arrangements satisfactory to the school have been made to meet the full obligation for tuition and fees.
- The signer of the Enrollment Contract understands and agrees that all tuition, fees, and charges must be paid in full by the last day in April of the current school year.
- Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to the Enrollment Contract, or the breach thereof, shall be settled by binding arbitration.
NEW INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Read these Terms and Conditions carefully before signing the enrollment contract.
- A non-refundable enrollment fee must be paid at the time of enrollment.
- The Student is required to pay the registration fee directly to Orange Lutheran High School before an I-20 form is issued from the school. Students accepted after the billing due date are required to pay the balance of tuition and fees for their first term immediately upon receipt of the student visa.
- Students who are suspended, dismissed, withdraw, or transfer from Orange Lutheran High School will not receive a refund for amounts paid for tuition or other charges.
- Students with outstanding balances will be placed on hold and will be barred from attending classes until payment is made in full. Failure to make payment in full by the payment deadline may lead to penalties and may result in a revocation of the I-20, which will impact the ability of the student to remain in the U.S.
- In order for an eligible international student to be considered for admission to Olu, the student’s parents must appoint a guardian who resides in the State of California and agrees to take all responsibility for the student until they graduate or leave the program. Orange Lutheran cannot act in the place of the parent or guardian.
- The appointed guardian has complete responsibility for all issues related to the student while the student is enrolled at Orange Lutheran and/or until the student graduates or leaves the program.
