International Admissions
WELCOME, INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Established in 1973, Orange Lutheran High School (Lutheran High School of Orange County) is a top-tier private Christian high school in Southern California, welcoming international students from all around the globe.
Orange Lutheran offers high-level college-preparatory academics, including many Advanced Placement (AP) and honors-level courses. Additionally, OLu offers a well-rounded educational experience, including theology, athletics, visual and performing arts, Student Life and ASB, and much more.
So we can best meet the needs of our international students and their families, we have established our International Student Program, which allows OLu to deliver comprehensive resources to a diverse population of learners. Students who enroll at Orange Lutheran High School as international students by way of status, application, interview, and records, will retain their status as an “International Student” for the duration of their tenure. The International Student tuition and fees policies apply for all years at Orange Lutheran High School.
In addition to our International Student Program, we also serve those who are permanent residents of the United States and currently hold a valid green card. Although not directly affiliated with our International Student Program, those who hold valid permanent residency must apply as International Students to allow our team to effectively evaluate and determine the need for additional support. Students holding a valid green card may be eligible for our Permanent Resident Program by meeting our minimum requirement for one of our accepted English Proficiency exams.
If permanent residency is obtained at any time during the student’s tenure at OLu, students may petition or challenge for placement into the Permanent Resident Program. Petitions or challenges are offered once annually at the beginning of each school year, and must demonstrate qualifying English Proficiency exam scores as described below in our Permanent Resident Program.
