Preparing Students for a Meaningful Life of Service and Purpose.
Leading the state with one of the best student-to-counselor ratios, Orange Lutheran’s passionate and specifically trained counselors work with students to enhance the learning process and promote career, academic, and social-emotional development while building skills and behaviors critical for academic achievement.
Each OLu counselor provides college and career planning services, and additional support is available through College Consulting Plus+ and for athletes who plan on continuing their career at a collegiate level.

- Guidance tailored for future collegiate athletes with our NCAA Advisor
- Assist students and parents with all questions and concerns related to academic advising and college planning

Specialized Guidance by Grade Level
Two freshman-only counselors guide our newest Lancers, which may include managing a schedule with increased academic rigor, adjusting to changing friend groups, and getting connected to new activities on campus.
For our 10th-12th graders, our counselors provide a wide variety of support services, including one-on-one college planning appointments, grade-level seminars, and much more.
Advanced Placement (AP) and Honors Courses
For those students who are seeking the most rigorous academic experience, we offer 25 honors level courses and 21 Advanced Placement (AP) courses with the opportunity to take 25 distinct AP exams. Our AP students consistently score significantly higher than California and national averages and all of our courses are taught by expert teachers who inspire and challenge our students.
