Distinctions

Orange Lutheran High School is proudly accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the National Lutheran Schools Association (NLSA), and recognized by the Council for American Private Education (CAPE) for meeting the standards of the U.S. Department of Education’s National Blue Ribbon Schools program.

We hold the highest level of accreditation granted by WASC, affirming our unwavering commitment to academic excellence, continuous improvement, and organizational integrity. This top-tier accreditation recognizes that Orange Lutheran meets rigorous standards of quality and effectiveness, ensuring that our students receive a Christ-centered education that prepares them for success in college, career, and life.

Our 2025 recognition by CAPE places Orange Lutheran among a select group of schools nationwide—and one of only three in California—honored for meeting the high standards of the National Blue Ribbon Schools program. This distinction reflects God’s faithfulness and the shared commitment of our teachers, staff, students, and families to pursue excellence for His glory.

As a member of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) and in partnership with NLSA, Orange Lutheran is part of a nationwide network of Lutheran schools dedicated to faith-based learning, service, and leadership. Our affiliation with the LCMS affirms our commitment to Christ-centered education rooted in Scripture and guided by the values of the Church.
