By-Laws (as the ultimate decision maker for the Association):

1. Ensure your congregation has a complete slate of Delegates (IV 3 b i)
2. Contribute your annual Quota amount (IV 3 b iv)
3. Recruit students and provide mailing lists (IV 3 b iv)
4. Pray for the High School (IV 3 b v)
5. Encourage your congregation to donate time, talent, and treasures (IV 3 b v)
6. Support and encourage programs of the Association (IV 3 b vi)
7. Keep your congregation informed about activities and progress of the School with the intent of providing support and encouraging goodwill (V 2 a)
8. Elect members of the Board of Directors (V 2 b)
9. Vote on matters brought before the Delegate Body (VI 6)
10. Approve any changes in the Articles of Incorporation or By-Laws (XIII)
11. Change our RSO Status within the LCMS (XV)

Communication (as representative of the owners of the Association)

1. Inform your Senior Pastor and Board of Directors of activities of the Association
2. Include secondary education in the congregation’s mission commitments, both financially and in practice.
3. Update the congregation regularly through bulletin inserts, congregational meetings, or other events
4. Support the mission and the work of the Association publicly and within your congregation
5. Provide feedback from your congregation to the Association leadership and to seek information/communication from the Association where questions exist.

Ongoing Action Requested (to help both the Association and Congregation accomplish THE mission)

1. Discuss your current Quota payments with your Treasurer. Get a regular report on how your congregation is doing
2. Speak at your congregation meetings to ensure the importance of the mission is understood
3. Personally make a gift to the Association’s Annual Fund to show your support. Consider a gift to our upcoming campaign and including us in your estate planning
4. Be involved in a committee, sub-committee, or ad-hoc group to further support the work of the Association
5. Pray for the schools, faculty, students, and families
