  • Algebra Bridge

    Algebra Bridge is specifically designed to review the major concepts of Algebra, especially in the second semester. Students receive no credit for this course, but based on their grade are able to enroll in Geometry or Honors Geometry on ground. Students must pass the course with a 70% to enroll in Geometry or they must pass the course with an 85% to enroll in Honors Geometry. The course is mastery-based, meaning that each concept must be mastered before moving on to the next concept.

    Algebra Bridge Online
    Algebra Bridge Online is a three-week course (15 days) covering second-semester Algebra 1. The course is taken as a refresher or review of an Algebra 1 course previously completed.

    Algebra Bridge On-Campus
    The course is taken as a refresher or review of an Algebra 1 course previously completed. Algebra Bridge is specifically designed to review the major concepts of Algebra, especially in the second semester. Final grade earned in this summer class will determine freshman placement.

  • Biology Prep Workshop (Full - Accepting Waitlist)

    In the Intro to Biology Workshop, students will be exposed to key scientific concepts valuable in building the foundation for inquiry exploration. Concepts include: how to take notes, how to study (study vs. review), metric system and application, graphing, how to perform a lab and how to write a lab report, and critical thinking. All of these concepts are applied within the realm of science and in particular, we focus the students to prepare for biology. We will be introducing the entire first semester of content at a basic level through this workshop.

  • Biology Prep Seminar

    In this interactive seminar, students will receive a lesson on each of the four units covered in the first semester of our Biology course. Within these lessons, students will learn content and study skills simultaneously. A major emphasis is placed on extracting meaning from difficult scientific texts, which is particularly beneficial for students enrolled in Honors Biology.

  • College Essay Workshop (Full - Accepting Waitlist)

    The College Essay Workshop is a three-day workshop helping high school seniors to brainstorm, write, revise, and edit their college application essays. Whether it is for the UC or Common Application, students will leave the workshop with an immense feeling of relief, knowing that a daunting portion of the college application process has been completed. Past students have used the essays they have written in the College Essay Workshop to gain admittance into a wide variety of schools, including schools such as Yale, UCLA, USC, Stanford, TCU, SMU, Loyola Marymount, Westmont, USD, etc.

  • Lancer Ready Workshop

    This one week of prep is designed to help incoming students make the transition to Orange Lutheran seamless. During this week students will be introduced to different study skills techniques, important technology information, and a variety of other topics.

    3D Printing & Design Workshop

    Explore the endless possibilities of this cutting-edge technology! 3D Printing & Design will introduce students to the types of 3D printers and how they work. Students will design a vase using 3D CAD software and print it on our exclusive ceramic 3D printer!

    Clay Creations

    Create a traditional ceramic coil pot! Build a quirky clay house! Sculpt and paint an amazing animal! And glaze your own custom mug or teacup!     Musical Theater Workshop

    This workshop is a one week intensive camp for students who love to act, sing, and dance. Group activities include costuming, make-up, stagecraft, lighting design, and audition techniques. The week culminates with a group performance on the Nechita stage!

  • Youth Speed & Strength Camp

    Youth Speed & Strength Camp

    The Orange Lutheran Youth Speed and Strength Camp is an all-encompassing athletic development camp. Each session will consist of speed training and sprint mechanics, as well as fundamentals of strength training in the
    weight room. This is for any athlete, male or female, that wants to get faster and stronger for their respective sport.
    Each athlete will be taught and properly trained using foundational principles that will enhance their athletic ability
    on the field, court, track, or in the pool. Athletes will be challenged and tested using state-of-the-art equipment, and
    also will learn the foundation of sports nutrition and how to properly fuel their bodies.

  • Baseball

    Baseball Academy

    Orange Lutheran Baseball Academy offers instruction in the fundamentals that represent the foundation of Lancer Baseball. We will review proper catch play, advanced infield and outfield footwork, along with modern physical and mental approaches for offensive success. Additionally, we will offer our absolutes of pitching, catching, and base running. Our Christ-centered instruction will share how we use baseball as our ministry while building confidence in up and coming community athletes.

  • Basketball

    Boys Basketball Camp

    Led by Coach Nordstrom and his staff, this camp is intended to provide all levels of players with an introduction to Lancer Basketball. Through drills, competitions and game simulations, the campers will be challenged to improve their game both individually and in team concepts. In addition, our current players will be actively working with your student-athlete to help them with their on-court skills. We will focus on character development as we uphold our program's standards of passion, toughness, and integrity.

    Join the staff of the OLu girls and boys basketball programs for a week of training like a Lancer! We invite you to come to meet the staff, alumni, and current players from both programs as we help campers improve their basketball abilities and strengthen their relationships with God.

  • Cheer & Song

    Cheer & Song Workshop

    Come learn from the Cheer & Song Coaches and Spiritleaders themselves. You will learn cheers, sideline routines, stunting and tumbling basics, and dance technique. It will be a lot of fun! There will also be a showcase at the end of the week for parents to come and watch all that the participants have learned.

    Youth Football Camp

    The game of football represents multiple components that are injected into each team and individual player. It is the culmination of these critical components that play out each time a team steps onto the field prepared for the Friday night lights and life off the field. We invite you to join OLu Head Football Coach, JP Presley, and his dedicated staff during a two-day football camp that provides participants with the unique opportunity to see, feel, and learn what it truly means to be a part of the Lancer Football Experience.

    Hockey Camp

  • Lacrosse

    Boys Lacrosse Camp

    Head Coach Michael Finley and varsity offensive coordinator Nate Marano lead an innovative player development camp that mirrors the Lancer Lacrosse experience. Players new to the sport will be introduced to the foundational skills in a deliberate manner that will set them up for future success. Experienced players will be challenged to take their game to the next level through personal and small group training, including video analysis. Uptempo drills and games will take place throughout the week, providing campers at every age and level the opportunity to compete and grow together.

  • Wrestling

    Wrestling Camp

    This is a wrestling camp that will focus on each wrestler's individual level. For some, fundamentals are needed, while some need more advanced technique. We will evaluate each wrestler and provide the necessary instruction for each wrestler. We provide a mix of games/technique sessions to promote a positive learning experience of the sport. We look forward to being a part of your wrestler's development.
