Mr. Todd Eklund is in his twelfth year of faithful service to Orange Lutheran High School. In June of 2016, he was named as Orange Lutheran’s eighth Principal in the school’s storied history. He is a product of Lutheran education, having attended primary, secondary, and collegiate LCMS institutions. Before accepting a call to serve at Orange Lutheran in 2005, his roots were established teaching at the University of Arizona and coaching at the high school level in Tucson, AZ. He received his BA from Concordia University Irvine and his secondary credential and MA from the University of Arizona.
During his tenure at OLu, Mr. Eklund has held administrative leadership positions in the Arts, Student Activities, Athletics, and in Academics. As an advocate for Lutheran education, Mr. Eklund’s strategic contributions to the Orange Lutheran campus over the years have provided for diverse platforms that foster and support opportunities for students, faculty, staff, and coaches to utilize their God given gifts and talents. He is passionate about pursuing a transformational campus culture for Christ, fervently guiding successful programs for the sake of growing the kingdom, and about forming partnerships with the outstanding community that supports the school annually.
Mr. Eklund and his wife, Mrs. Rachel Eklund, Orange Lutheran Student Activities Director, are residents of Anaheim Hills and are the proud parents of their son, Easton, Orange Lutheran class of 2034.
