Justin Stewart has served as the Chief Financial Officer for Orange Lutheran High School since the beginning of the 2017-2018 school year and is serving as Interim Chief Executive Officer during the 2019-20 school year.
Mr. Stewart was born and raised in the Lutheran Church having been baptized at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Long Beach and confirmed and married at Holy Cross Lutheran in Cypress. Justin and his wife Jenny (Cohn), a graduate of Orange Lutheran, are active members at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Orange. They have two Children, Emma ‘22 and Finnegan ‘24.
Mr. Stewart earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting from San Diego State University where he was the President of his Fraternity and active in the Student Accounting Society. He started his career in consulting and then spent 17 years at UnitedHealth Group, a Fortune 5 company. At UnitedHealth, Mr. Stewart held a variety of leadership roles, concluding his time there as Vice President of Finance and Operations.
Mr. Stewart has fully embraced his transition from the corporate world to the ministry of Orange Lutheran. He can be found supporting the Lancers on the stage, field, court, rink, track, pool, or serving on one of OLu’s amazing mission trips. He is passionate about Orange Lutheran’s mission to help students internalize the gospel message of salvation in Christ Jesus and believes fervently in the benefits of a Christian education. He understands the sacrifices that families make to provide this vital basis for a life grounded in the knowledge that their child's identity is in Christ.
