Orange Lutheran Academies

Orange Lutheran is pleased to announce the launch of the following new Academies beginning the 2016-2017 school year:

  • Arts Academy
    • Performing Arts Academy
    • Visual Arts Academy
  • Humanities Academy
  • Ministry Academy
These academies join our highly acclaimed STEM program and popular Faith and Entrepreneurial Business Academy known as FEBA, both of which have been met with great enthusiasm and have proven to be meaningful and beneficial for our students. Serving as a school within a school, academies offer personalized learning opportunities that provide the following benefits:

  • Academies will provide increased options and opportunities for  student ownership and educational success in terms of achievement and personal satisfaction.

  • Academies will inspire student learning through the opportunity for depth in a specific area of strength, interest, and passion.

  • The rigor of Academy requirements will challenge and strengthen students while also providing a balanced approach to learning and the high school experience through specific guidelines, parameters, and expectations.

  • Academies will prepare students for college by providing them with an endorsement that serves as a unique distinction for their college resume and the competitive application process. The endorsement announces that the student has accomplished a well-rounded and rigorous program in a specific area of concentration.

  • Through internships, collaborative experiences, and capstone project requirements, Academies will help students develop resiliency and personal accountability as they are strengthened for a Christian life of service through vocation and leadership in a global society.
