School Events

Dear Lancer Parents,  

Please join us for BACK-TO-SCHOOL NIGHT on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 beginning at 6:00 p.m.  Parents of Sophomores and Juniors will meet in the gym for a live presentation from Mr. Gregg Pinick, Executive Director, and Mrs. Leslie Smith, Principal.  You won’t want to miss this session as topics will  also include recent achievements and future plans.  You will leave feeling affirmed in your commitment to Orange Lutheran and excited to be a part of the Lancer Family! Parents of Sophomores and Juniors are invited to hear the presentation live in the gym, while parents of Freshmen and Seniors are invited to view this presentation via live feed in the Nechita Center.  Starting at 7:00 p.m. parents will have the opportunity to experience their student’s school day as they attend a 10-minute class period in their classrooms.  This is a great evening, and one that we strongly encourage all parents to attend annually. 

PARKING:

To accommodate the large volume of cars at Back-To-School Night, please consider the following options:

1. At maximum, only one car per family, please.
2. Carpool with another set of parents.
3. Have your student drop you off and pick you up.
4. Park at the rear parking lot of Sears on the corner of Canal and Meats (our student shuttle service location) and ride our shuttle bus to and from campus.  The shuttle will run from 5:15 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and from 8:30 – 9:30 p.m.

Our faculty will be parking off campus to provide the maximum number of spaces on campus.  Your help is greatly appreciated.

We will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m.  Attached is a schedule of events for the evening and a school map.  Student schedules, campus maps, and a schedule of events for the evening will also be available for pick up in the lunch area, starting as early as 5:30 p.m.
