Annual Fund

Our goal is 100% participation, no matter the size of your gift. That's because the Annual Fund directly helps 100% of Orange Lutheran's student body. So with 1290 students and 1290 reasons to give, won't you help us reach our goal?.

Even Orange Lutheran has operating costs. For example, the average monthly electric bill pushes $36,000. Faculty Learning Team meetings cost the school $3,000 per Wednesday morning. Library database subscriptions total $3,250 every academic quarter. Bus rentals for the Band and Cheer programs cost $1,600 for a single game. It costs $50 to replace the light bulb in a classroom projector.

Tuition alone does not cover these costs. In fact, tuition only covers about 85 percent of the actual cost of a student’s Orange Lutheran experience. In an effort to keep tuition as low as possible, we depend on the gifts of our Orange Lutheran family to help make up the difference.

We are thrilled for this year's Annual Fund! The Annual Fund is the best way for the Orange Lutheran community to invest in the annual needs of the school.

And there are some very real needs. Annual giving provides immediate budgetary support for numerous issues; The Annual Fund:

        - Makes up the difference between tuition and the cost of excellence

        - Provides funding for unbudgeted yet innovative and timely                           opportunities that arise mid-year

        - Safety and security improvements for the entire campus

Those items that may not receive a great deal of fanfare, but are valuable nonetheless, like maintenance of the lunch area and classrooms, operating costs such as utility bills and rental fees, and teacher development and appreciation.
