Activities to Satisfy Many Interests

Each child is blessed by God with unique gifts. Students at Orange Lutheran High School have the opportunity to participate in multiple activities outside the classroom to better explore and strengthen those gifts.

Student Activities

Orange Lutheran's Student Leadership Team (SLT) serves the student body, faculty, community, and God in a number of ways throughout the year. There are many activities in which students can become involved!  These include joining a club, helping freshmen by becoming a member of Ignite, going to dances, or attending any Orange Lutheran sporting events. These are great ways to be a part of the Orange Lutheran community outside of the classroom.

CLUBS

Clubs are a big part of the Student Activities Department. For a list of clubs for the 2011-2012 school year click here

Dances

Student Activities Department sponsors six dances throughout the year for our students to attend.  Please click on the links to the right to find out more about the dances offered and answers to Frequently Asked Questions about the dances.

Missions Program

You can’t talk to many people at Lutheran High School without learning that the mission of the school is to help students internalize the gospel message of Jesus Christ.  The goal of our missions program is to provide one hands-on way of accomplishing this mission.  We desire to help students deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ by providing opportunities for them to do as Christ would.  What this means will vary from student to student.  Some are spiritually and emotionally mature enough to go on a 2 week trip to a primitive tribe and share Christ.  On the other extreme, we have students who view service days as a potentially uncomfortable experience.  There are LHS students at every point in between.  Our desire has been to offer enough variety in our trips so that every LHS student sees a place where they can “do as Christ would do”.  And beyond that, we want them to enjoy the experience.

Service To Society

The Christian life includes acts of love and service to others. Twice a year, the high school closes its doors and sends its students and teachers across the community for a hands-on opportunity to help others.
