Leslie Smith, Principal

Mrs. Leslie Smith became Orange Lutheran's principal in July 2008, after serving as Assistant Principal for one year.  Before joining Orange Lutheran in 2007, Mrs. Smith served as Principal at Red Hill Lutheran School in Tustin, California from 2000 to 2007.  Under her leadership, Red Hill Lutheran increased enrollment by 40 percent and developed a strong reputation for offering solid academics integrated with Biblical truths and principles.
 
Known for her genuine care and concern for every student, Mrs. Smith is passionate about Lutheran education and the privilege of sharing the love of Jesus Christ and His saving grace.  Focused on creating an environment that emphasizes “students first,” Mrs. Smith has earned the respect and confidence of the student body because they know and trust her to have their best interests at heart.
 
A graduate of Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, Mrs. Smith also holds a Master of Arts degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, K-12, and a professional clear multiple subject teaching credential. She and her husband Phil, a television producer, reside in Anaheim Hills with their children.
