Matching Gifts

Many companies and financial institutions will match the gift you make to LHSOC. Our Development Office staff or your company’s Human Resources department can assist you in this effort. All gifts will be credited toward your individual gift record. Use our matching gift search engine to find our if your employer or financial institution has a matching gift policy.

Planned Gifts

Planned giving presents an opportunity for donors to structure a gift that not only provides for the future of LHSOC but also achieves a variety of financial objectives. Deferred gifts include bequests, life insurance, trusts, and gifts of stock or real estate. There are numerous tax advantages to planned gifts. Securities

Gifts of long-term appreciated securities provide donors with a double tax benefit. Under most circumstances, donors can deduct the full market value and avoid capital gains tax on the appreciation.
