Counseling & College Planning

The Counseling Department at Orange Lutheran High School offers academic guidance, support counseling, and Christ-centered programming/services to all students. Counselors strive to foster programs, which enhance faith development and encourage integration of faith in daily living. We believe integrating faith is essential and necessary as students grow and develop in academic/educational, college/career, and personal/social domains.

Lutheran High School of Orange County is committed to giving every student the support they need to choose a college or university that best fits them academically, socially, and spiritually.  The Counseling and College Planning department is available to students and parents in several ways, including:

  • Assist students with the college decision making process, including individual counseling sessions to help students find the college or university that is right for them.
  • Answer questions related to Financial Aid and help students and parents process the FAFSA in order to receive institutional, state, and federal aid.
  • Counsel students regarding relevant testing (SAT, ACT, etc.) procedures and dates.
  • Coordinate and chaperone trips to colleges and universities throughout the nation.
  • Assist students and parents with all questions and concerns regarding college planning & placement.
