Perfect Game Crosschecker names the Lancer pitcher the nation's top high school prospect

Perfect Game Crosschecker, a high school baseball scouting website, has chosen Orange Lutheran ace Gerrit Cole as the top high school baseball prospect in the country. Cole, who signed with UCLA in November, will anchor the Lancer pitching staff in the upcoming season. Cole was stellar as a junior last year, going 3-0 with a 1.21 ERA. In three years of pitching for Orange Lutheran, he has never lost a game.
